Im Gaki, a tech enthusiast with special interest in science, tech, videogames and music :D
I will be adding more content and more about me and some personal projects as well as music recomendations, cool science and tech stuff

Ive always liked the old-internet aesthetic so I decided to style this site like so but adding a modern touch taking advante of better internet speed compared to 20 years ago. Still I would like to try to run the site in an old system to see what breaks (probably a lot of things based on the HTML version but it could be a cool post)

• Bilingual (Eng / Spa) and slowly learning French

Fun facts:

• The name Gaki comes from "Gakiteri", a name I temporarily used for an android app I coded to help me learn some japanses and when I wanted to change my internet nickname and couldn't come up with anything, I just took the name of the app (like the lazy bitch I am) and Ive been using it ever since. Then we just short it to "Gaki" as its easier to say, faster to write and its a double take on "がき (gaki)" as it could be translated to "brat"


• I have 3 cats, Helios, Selene and Iris. Helios is a black gluttonous boi who is always happy to play around and get cuddles. Selene is a gray-ish tabby-tuxedo (or torbie, I cant find a specific name online) talkative diva that gets scared very easily of new people and big things that move around, like the chair she was just sitting on. And finally, Iris, a tabby-tuxedo mixed with some siamese patterns who is the most independent of the bunch.
  Helios and Selene come from the same litter of four who were taken into a foster home from like a week old, then adopted in pairs at about 6 months old and at the time of writing, the became 5 years old just under a month ago.
  On the other hand, Iris was a wild street cat who was taken in as she was very social with humans, its not entirely clear but we do believe that she will turn 8/9 in about 2 weeks time so she is quite a bit older. She also have a what seems to be a nerve issue on her right eye that makes her pupils fully dilate and that make it dificult for her to hunt (play with her toys) as depth perception is a bit off sometimes


• I love tinkering so Im constantly trying to find new excuses to learn about new topics. A few months ago, I gave it a try to make a mini-garden on my studio window and so far, its going quite well. I will probabbly make a whole post on my projects page (when I actually make it). I also have a 3D printer and a lot of ideas that will hopefully get documented here ^^
